Loading GPX files on WISroGIS maps

GPS tracks in GPX format can be added to a WISroGIS map as overlay.

The below example show a number of bike routes mapped on top of 4 base layers (OpenStreetMap Mapnik, OpenStreetMap Cycle Map, Yahoo Map and Google Physical map).

To load a GPX layer on the map, you can use:

layer='GML("Route 6", "kml/gpx-example/Bikewald Route 6.gpx",

{ style: {strokeColor: "#000000", pointRadius:5, strokeWidth: 4, strokeOpacity: 0.75},

format: OpenLayers.Format.GPX,  formatOptions: {extractWaypoints: true, extractTracks: true, extractRoutes:true, extractAttributes: true}, 

projection: new OpenLayers.Projection("EPSG:4326") })'

The available mapping parameters for the GPX layer are:

extractTracks : {Boolean} - Extract tracks from GPX.

extractRoutes : {Boolean} - Extract routes from GPX.

extractAttributes :{Boolean} - Extract feature attributes from GPX.
